Nagpur Spoke Centre:- Narayani Girhe

"Narayani Girhe from Bhandara is 12-year-old girl diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 9. As she is a girl child the parents were very shocked and afraid about her future. Initially it is very difficult for the family to handle this diabetes mentally as well as financially. Also, the blood sugar level is not under control as there is gap in the follow up with doctor and sugar monitoring. But since last December once they received the free and good treatment from Nagpur centre supported by HCJMRI they get mental as well as financial relief and they could concentrate on Narayani’s hobby of singing. Narayani loves singing and joined a singing class. Also, during Ganpati festival she took part in the Dhol Pathak and handled the Dhol confidently. Now her sugar control is also good, and one can see the confidence on her face."
